1) (1) ASIAN INVASION (2-0) With a 4-0 sweep over Team Bob, Asian Invasion retains their hold on the number one spot this week. Melanie was able to hold off Bob in the Iron Fist, while Hoi, Jenny, and Charlie all did their part to continue Asian's march to the playoffs. Asian will get a challenge this week in the form of Top Flight, and this could be the battle to decide who wins first place for the regular season.

2) (4) ROCK HARDS (2-0) The Rock Hards do it again! Thanks to another dominating win by Blondie, and a narrow victory by Rachael in the Iron Fist, the Rock Hards have already doubled their win total from last season. Blondie is looking like an early candidate for MVP. But the season is still young, and the Rock Hards have a long way to go yet. They'll have another tough fight in Team Dirty this week.

3) (8) TOP FLIGHT (1-1) Now *that's* more like it. With an emphatic shutout victory, Vanion secures the win for Top Flight against the feisty Royal Pain. Vinny wins again, and Harris gets another Iron Fist victory to add to his career stats. This week showed what Top Flight can do when they are firing on all cylinders. They're going to need to be in top form, because they're greatest threat, Asian Invasion, is up this week.

4) (7) TEAM DIRTY (1-1) Team Dirty rebounds from a rough start to defeat Team Fist 3 duels to 1. YOUR Diamond, Hope, makes her first appearance and gets the win in the Iron Fist against Andrea. Shadow and Rick contribute victories, and show just how much potential this team has. This will be an interesting an exciting match against the Rock Hards this week.

5) (2) ROYAL PAIN (1-1) Royal Pain got a dose of reality this week as Top Flight beats them 3-1. PJ got herself an impressive victory by slipping by Dean, but that's the end of the good news. In their defense, Rena and Issy had tough fights. Let's see if they can put together another win this week against a struggling Team Fist.

6) (3) DISCOMBOBULATORS (1-1) Speaking of reality, it just paid a visit to the Discombobulators as well. Losing all four matches to Asian isn't good, but it is understandable. Bob gave Melanie all she could handle in the Iron Fist match, which was the high point of their week. Next week they'll be squaring off against 0-2 Team Hydra. Can they do what they did in Week One and claim another victory?

7) (5) HYDRA (0-2) Another close loss for Team Hydra. They go 2-2 against the Rock Hards, but can't score enough points to pull out the win. This time, Anubis and Xanth were the losers, while Random and Kalamere get one in the win column. One of these weeks this team should put it together. Will it be this week, against the Discombobulators?

8) (6) TEAM FIST (0-2) Team Fist's woes continue as this time they lose 3 of 4 to Team Dirty. Koyliak won her first match of the season against Claire, but Matt, Kheldar, and Andrea all lost close matches. I still think this team will turn things around, but they'd better start quick. Up next for them is Royal Pain, and this is a good chance for them to do just that.

TEAMS ON THE RISE: Rock Hards (2 from 4), Top Flight (3 from 8), Team Dirty (4 from 7)

OVERALL: Top Flight and Team Dirty recovered, as I expected, and should continue to be a threat all season. I'm pleasantly surprised by the success of the Rock Hards! Here's to Kruger's crew making it to the playoffs. Can Hydra and Team Fist break out of their early season funk? Lots of action this week, as my top four teams go head to head! Asian Invasion vs. Top Flight, and Rock Hards vs. Team Dirty! Enjoy Week Three!
