With all of the renewed interest in dueling, and the success of the 2010 season of the Tour de Rhydin, it seems appropriate to restart Dueling Zone News as well.
DoS Madness is just about to start up again. It took scarcely a day for the event to gather up 64 entrants, which is a very promising indicator about the excitement for the event. By comparison, 2009's DoS Madness had only 36 entrants. Things are set to kick off Thursday, 11 March, which is just a week away.
Challenges have been numerous in the past several weeks, and the duels are seeing new faces, LOTS of them. All of this renewed vigor is exciting to see, as are the old-timers that have long been absent from the rings, like Kalamere ar'Din.
All in all, things are looking up, and we're hoping to mirror that renewed life here at Dueling Zone.
