Three duelists entered the Archmage Tourney, vying for the chance to face the Archmage for the title. Among those duelists were: Mur of Eire, Will Wulfson, and Xerzes Maureen. Because of the small number, the decision was made to hold the event in a round-robin format. At the end of dueling, all duelists were equally positioned with 1 win, and 1 loss. Based on the total points scored, it was decided that Mur and Xerzes would face each other a final time to determine who would advance to face the Archmage.

Winning 5-2.5 in 9 rounds, Xerzes claimed the victory, and advances to fight Archmage Topaz.
