Max Blue gave challenge to Aya Hayashibara for the 8th Baron's ring. The challenge was settled in the "best of three" format.

The defender won the first duel 5-3 in 10 rounds, followed by a win by the challenger in the second duel 5-2 in 7. Going into the third duel, Aya Hayashibara got an early lead and closed out the duel 5-4 in 8 rounds to retain the title.
