Kateri Pulchra gave challenge to Ticallion Carter, holder of the 3rd Baron's ring, for the right to the title.

When the time came to settle the matter, the "best of three" format was selected as the method of challenge resolution.

While the challenger, Kateri, was able to gain an early lead, and ultimately win, the first duel, 6-4.5 in 13 rounds, she was unable to follow up her first win. Losing the next two duels, 5-2 in 9 and 6-4.5 in 10, to the defender, Ticallion retains his hold upon the Barony.
