Warlord Lorrance Sneggle gave challenge to Cassius Maximius for the right to wear the 9th Baron's ring.

The match was fought in the "best of three" format, and was officiated by Nycholas De Gyrlington

The challenger opened the first duel scoring first blood, but that was to be his only point in the duel as the Baron immediately overwelmed him, winning 5-1 in 7 rounds. Nor was the challenger more successful in the second duel, where his blade was never able to get past the Baron's defense. Cas won the second duel 5-0 in 8 to retain a firm hold upon his title.
