Dalila, recipient of the intercession-free challenge in the last Warlord Tournament, elected to make use of her right to challenge. The Overlord announced that the match would be fought in the "best of three" format, and that the services of Var Medici-Giovanni had been secured to referee.

The challenger took a strong lead in the first duel, which she never relinquished, winning 5-1 in 8 rounds. In the second duel of the set, although the Overlord put up a more staunch defense, and even gained the lead at one point, he was unable to thwart her and Dalila again won, this time 6.5-5 in 12 rounds.

Dalila overthrows the reign of the Blindfold Proxy to become the Arena's newest Overlord.
