In an unannounced challenge, Manni Cohai offered challenge to Anubis Karos, holder of the Red Opal, FireStar.

Fought in a "best of three" format, Anubis barely held off his opponent in the first duel to win 5-4 in 10 rounds. In the second duel, although the defender was able to obtain a 4-2 lead, once again it ended close as Manni was able to tie the score before Anubis could get the elusive final point, winning 5-4 in 11.

Having won two straight duels, the Opal remains firmly in the grasp of Anubis Karos who has waived the waiting period before he can be challenged again.
