A huge crowd showed up, many of whom were clad in matching loincloths, to watch Warlord Seamus MacDonnaugh face Nova Grey Shadow for the right to wear the eighth Baron's ring.

The baron selected "best of three" as the format, and won the first duel, 5-2.5 in 10 rounds to protect his title. The challenger came back strongly in the second duel (perhaps due to the influence of a borrowed weapon, namely the "Great Worm"), winning 5-3 in 6 rounds, which left both duelists at 1 apiece. Although the lead traded a couple of times in the third duel, the baron was able to pull away and win, 5-2 in 10 rounds to retain ownership of the barony.
