Warlord G'nort Dragoon-Talanador challenged and fought Baron of the First Ring, Daelin Dragonsblade for the right to the title.

In two duels of a best of three format, G'nort defeated the baron, 5-4 in 12 and 5.5-3.5 in 15 rounds, to win the title away from Dragonsblade.

Upon winning, G'nort declared himself Renegade to the Overlord. Also, after his defeat, Dragonsblade announced that he would be retiring from the rings. (Details of retirement on AOL)
