Winner of a shot at the Overlord due to his performance (third place) in the last Warlord's Tourney, Ticallion Carter faced the Overlord at 10pm EDT in the Arena. The services of Stormi were retained by Overlord Dalamar Ar'Daumon to referee the match. The Overlord was seconded by Baron Sartan. The challenger was seconded by Chris Graziano.

The match was fought in the "best of three" format, and it took three duels for the challenge to be resolved. The Overlord won the first 5-2 in 9 rounds, and then lost the second 6-5 in 13. Although he fought hard in the second match, Carter was unable to win the title away from the Overlord who won the third match 5-3 in 8.

This was the Overlord's first defense of the title since reclaiming it in February.
