Warlord Malhavoc Shadowlord challenged, and fought, the holder of the seventh Baron's ring, Mahrtun, for the right to the title.

The two duelists agreed to a "best of three" and in short order the challenger was able to win the title. Malhavoc won 5-3 in 9 rounds, and then 5-2 in7.

The challenge was refereed by Altara d Poison.
