Grayson MacLeod issued challenge to Damien Mortis for the title of Overlord. When the time came for the event, Damien elected to make use of the Test of Worthiness and selected Max Blue as his tester. Max chose to resign his Barony before taking up the duel. Cassius Maximius stood in defense of the challenger and succeeded in defeating the tester, 6-5 in 11 rounds to clear the way for Grayson.

Grayson advanced to fight the Overlord, but was soundly defeated, 5-2 in 8 rounds. Damien Mortis retained his week-old title.
