Archmage Tourney had two entrants: Farek and Vincent Smith, who battled it out in a best-of-three format to determine who would be allowed to challenge Mur Ollavan for the title of Archmage. Vinny won two straight duels 5-2.5 in 6 rounds, and then 5-4 in 11.

After defeating Farek, Vinny advanced to face Mur, which was also settled in the best-of-three format. Vinny won the first duel 5-2.5 in 12 rounds, Mur took the second duel 6-4.5 in 12, and Vinny took the third duel 5-3.5 in 9. With his victory, Vinny claims the title of Archmage.
