Five spellcasters entered the tourney, including: Eros DeBurgo, Tim Enralyte, Topaz, Vince Smith, and Xerzes Maureen. Fought in a round-robin format, Topaz came out the overall winner and advanced to face the Archmage Will Wulfson.

Topaz returned to face Will Wulfson on the following night, and succeeded in defeating Will two duels to one. With her victory, Topaz becomes the newest Archmage.
