Grayson MacLeod challenged and faced Ria Wells-Graziano for the right to bear the Blue Opal, aka IceDancer.

The match was fought in the best of three format. Ria was able to win the first duel strongly with a final score of 5-1 (number of rounds not available). Her luck changed in the second duel as Grayson was able to pull out a 5-4 win in the 10th round. In the final duel, Grayson was able to better his performance from the second round and defeated Ria, 5-3 in 10 rounds to claim the title.
