As winner of the past Warlord Tourney, the so called "Blindfold Proxy" claimed his right to challenge the Overlord, Cletus Ganderfald, in an intercession-free match.

The match was fought in the "best of three" format, and the challenger won the first duel 5-4 in 9 rounds after reaching sudden death in the 8th round. Overlord Ganderfald held off his challenger in the second duel, narrowly winning 5-4 in 11 rounds after going to sudden death in the 10th round. The third duel was the only one *not* to go into sudden death, and saw the challenger winning 5-3 in 8 rounds to claim the title of Overlord.
