There were four duelers who answer the call to the Archmage Tourney, including: Vince Smith, Mur the Sage, Xerzes Maureen, and William Wulfson.

Fought in a double elimination format, Vince Smith was the first duelist eliminated after two rounds of dueling. After a third round of dueling, Mur was eliminated as well, and Xerzes faced off with Will for the prize.

The final results of the last duel are unknown, but Xerzes came out the winner over Will and was therefore allowed to advance to face the Archmage, Tim Enralyte.

The tourney was officiated by Topaz.

On day two, Xerzes faced off with defending Archmage, Tim Enralyte. Fought in a "best of three" format, the challenger was unable to win against the Archmage, who won two straight duels, 5-3 in 9 rounds, and then 5.5-3 in 11, to retain his title.

The face-off with the Archmage was officiated by Esperean Etherwind.

Grayson MacLeod, not content with Gork taking IceDancer from him, challenged Gork with the intent of winning the Opal back.

Fought in the standard "best of three" format, the challenger started to make good on his promise by winning the first duel 5-3 in 8 rounds, however his bravado was insufficient to sustain him, as Gork pulled out the next two duels 5-2 in 7 and 5-2 in 8 to retain the title.
