Nicholas Overton Tyme challenged Ticallion Carter for the right to wear the 12th Baron's ring. The match was refereed by Nycholas DeGyrlington and was fought in the "best of three" format.

The Baron came out strong in the first duel, winning 5-2 in 8 rounds, but the challenger rallied in the second duel and won in the 7th round, with a score of 5-4. Thereafter the challenge moved from the Arena to the Annex where the final duel was fought. In a final duel, the challenger led 4-2 in the 7th round, but was unable to put the duel away until the 13th round. Despite a valiant effort on the part of Ticallion, Nick won the third duel, 6-4.5, and claimed the Barony as his prize.

Immediately upon claiming the title, Nick declared himself Renegade to the Overlord.
