Baron Cletus Ganderfald, after announcing his intent to challenge the Overlord, dared any Barons to meet him in the ring and put their Baron rings at risk to preempt his challenge against the Overlord.

As Baron vs. Baron duels are not formally recognized by the Arena, the stakes of this duel were dependent upon the honor of the participants.

With their Baron rings on the line, Elijah Basia Uhr, holder of the 12th Baron's ring, took up the gauntlet and defeated Cletus in a grueling 27 round match with a final score of 10.5-9.5.

Upon losing, per the terms of the challenge, Cletus voluntarily surrendered the 9th ring to referee Destre.
